This has got to be the biggest BN I’ve ever seen. The first floor has the checkouts, Starbucks, and a huge selection of books. There’s one up and one down escalator, which takes you to the loft-esque second floor; which has even more books as well as a study area. The study area is really neat. There’s a bunch of armchairs (some of which face windows that overlook the highway/shopping center across the street), and desk-like tables.

The Clifton Shopping Center. It has everythingggg. Moves, Applebees, Restaurants… Party City?

Found this on the walk to the shopping plaza that’s about a block from the hotel. It’s…interesting. I wonder who put it here. And why. And if they’re going to empty it.

At the bookstore, I found out that two books I need for a class are sold out (I’ll have to come back). So I got my other books and this bookbag. The coloring is pretty sick.

The Montclair University’s gallery this semester is housing the works of Andy Warhol. During the “Welcome Back” Party, a boy and a girl dressed up as Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick walked around and handed out flyers. It was really funny how they would walk up to you/stand in your way and hand you a flyer without saying a word. And then just turn and walk away without looking at you when you took it. They were really in-character.

Amidst the party, dance stage, booths, and people applying for school ID’s, Freshman were moving into their on-campus dorms.

On campus, they are having a party/fair for all the students. Free food was availiable. All the clubs, sororities, and the like had booths set up. Booths were also set up for “What does your name mean?”, “Free Dog Tags”,  etc.

Information on campus/hotel meetings and goings-on are slid under the door on post-it notes.
